Anybody has access to this paper?: The dark synnematous hyphomycete genus Morrisographium: described species transferred from Sphaeronaema, Cornularia, Phragmographium, and Arthrobotryum
I have requested it via research gate but without luck

cheers

Hello, here it is.Did you find something from this genus? I have a species that is close to M. ulmi. Collections from Europe seem to be rare. Adam

Ah those look like the same species as mine- not quite boudieri, not quite ulmi. I've got a sequence if you wanted to compare.

I got sequences from Jonathan Mack from Canada in 2021 which he compared with Morrisographium and which appear to belong in Orbiliomycetes. Adam, did you try your sequence in GenBank? What relationship did you get?

Re : The dark synnematous hyphomycete genus Morrisographium: described species transferred from Sphaeronaema, Cornularia, Phragmographium, and Arthrobotryum
Hi Zotto, with LSU I'm mainly getting Microthyriaceae, The highest hit, Pseudocorniculariella guizhouensis, is somewhat similar in morphology. The Orbiliomycetes surely must be a contam.

Thomas thank you, the most recent find seems to be covered by other fungi, I fear that seq. in this case would not work. The conidia do not germinate in culture, so it would be hard to get clean DNA.

The data comprise the entire SSU, ITS and LSU D1-D2. All three regions point to an Orbiliomycete but with high distance. Perhaps a convergence.
