Allophylaria on Geum urbanum

Hi, 

I found small discs growing on dead stem of Geum urbanum weeks ago. Yesterday I examined them under the microscope. My guess is Allophylaria. The closest species seems to be A. filicinum. But it should grow on ferns? Also, I couldn't see the clear structure of the asci-wall and when using Lugol there were no porus-reaction... 


Maybe someone can help?

Obviously overmature. You are probably right with A. filicum, which has inamyloid asci.

I guess that the host is a fern indeed, judging from the stem structure, at least I consider this possible.
