Dear friendsCan you help me to identify a small discomycete, which grew on the rotten wood of Quercus robur?
Hairs narrowly-conical, hyaline. Asci (4-)-8ht sporous, 35,0-46,5 x 6-6,2 µm, with croziers and amyloid apical rings. Paraphyses abundant, filiform, 1 µm near the base, gradually swollen up to 1,6 µm.
Ascospores (5,9-) 6,9-7,4 x 1,9-2,3 µm
Can it be Hyaloscypha daedaleae?

Hi Alex
the macro does not look to me like a Hyaloscypha. I would at least compare Arachnoscypha aranea.

Hi,
Howabout Psilocistella? ---Yep, cant connect that to Hyaloscypha. Try taking a very small section including some hairs. Are there septa in the hairs?
