Bonsoir à tous,
Nous venons de trouver dans un état + ou- mur (les peritheces sont jaunes et très apparents ) ce qu'on nomme habituellement Epichloe typhina; mais en controlant au micro j'ai mesuré les asques qui font 250 X 5 µm pour habituellement 100-150 X 6-7 µm ? Les spores sont peu apparentes (immaturité ) mais ces dimensions sont t-elles possibles (en murissant les asques ne peuvent raccourcir à ce point ? )? Il y a d'autres Epichloës ou voisins dans l'Index fungorum et ailleurs mais y a t-il une autre possibilité que typhina en France ?

Hi Robert,

my Epichloe, that i'm founding does have Asci 100-200um. I describe all "E.tiphina" but i does know, that E.typhina is a group species - newest molecular research showns, that on every host plant is another Epichloe.
May be you have one of the "other E.typhina"
