Hello all,
I found these tiny orange discomycetes on bare hardwood earlier this week in central New Jersey. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction. They measure less than 1mm in diameter. Asci are IKI+, 68-76 x 7.5. Spores (10) 12-16 x 3-3.5µm, hyaline, fusiform, some 1-septate. Paraphyses are filiform with oil droplets, occasionally with swollen tips up to 3µm wide. If I have not provided enough documentation I can try to find out more.
Thanks in advance,
Ethan

Re : Orange cup fungi
This is Arachnopeziza cornuta (= A. trabinelloides).
