Amphisphaeria?
Malcolm Greaves, 19-02-2016 21:53
Malcolm GreavesWhilst looking at ejected Scutellina spores from a felled log I came across these single septate and warted spores. A closer look at the wood showed up some orange/black perithecia. The nearest I could get is Amphisphaeria millepunctata but looking at the entries in the Database here I am not sure I am in the right area.
Perithecia is .14 x .17mm orange when immature and black when mature.
Spores are 10 - 11.9 x 5.5 - 6.5. single septate constricted at the septa
Thanks
Mal

Re : Amphisphaeria?
Hi Mal,

that looks rather nectriaceous to me...

Best wishes,
Gernot
