White Rhodoscypha ovilla?
Zuzana Sochorová (Egertová), 01-11-2014 22:20
Zuzana Sochorová (Egertová)Good evening,
can this be something different than white form of Rhodoscypha ovilla?
The spores are fusoid, hyaline, with two guttules (5,5 micrometers across), up to 40 x 13 micrometers, smooth.
It has got hyaline, very thick-walled hairs (up to 6 micrometers).
I found only one small apothecium, it grew in calcareous region, on soil, under Abies.

Re : White Rhodoscypha ovilla?
Bonjour Zuzana,

Cf dessins.

Salutations amicales

René

Re : White Rhodoscypha ovilla?
Many thanks, René.
Unfortunatelly I don´t have got acetocarmine, but I will add it to the next order.
I saw a normally pink Rhodoscypha ovilla in Romania (Apuseni, karst region) and in more localities in Georgia, but never a white apothecium.
Best regards, Zuzana
