Hello. This Cordyceps or Ophiocordyceps or whatever the proper genus might be... looks interesting to me. I found it in an open area growing from clayey soil. Unfortunately I couldn't discern what the host was. Presumably it was an insect of some kind. The largest fruitbody was 2 cm long. Might someone know the species of this fungus?
