Re:Durella sp.?
Hi Enrique

it actually looks like being that species from Australia. The spores in your find I think are partly more than 7-septate, the asci have an apical thickening which D. connivens never has, and the spores exceed 50 µm, the maximum of D. connivens.

Apart from the yellowish VBs in the paraphyses there is a further character which this perhaps undescribed species and D. conivens share: the walls of old spores in dead asci stain pale blue in IKI, maybe you can check this feature.

The Australian finds were on Proteaceae and Fabaceae.

Re:Durella sp.?
Many thanks, Zotto.
Your collections also were placed to several meters of height on the level of the soil?

Re:Durella sp.?
Yes, all Durella species grow on xeric substrate. Those from Australia were collected by Guy who almost exclusively collects on dry substrate. Maybe 1 m above ground, maybe 2-3 m.
