Really handsome hairs. I'll try to squeeze a comment or an opinion from Seppo on Wednesday. He is here on a field trip right now. In the monograph var. leuconica is mentioned to have been bearing resin in Lugol in one apo in one of the studied samples.
Timo
Thank you for your opinion and ask the comment Seppo. For information my pictures were mounted in the water, so the drops of "resin" on the hairs are naturally present.
Bernard
Finely warted hairs I see on pics by Enrique. Sparse granular deposits I also see on pics of bulbopilosa. So you may really be right with leuconica.
But are there no thick-walled hairs in this sample?
I will redo a measurement of the width of spores and check the walls of the hairs.
