Scutellinia in Russia - literature?
Viktorie Halasu, 21-02-2018 22:32
Viktorie HalasuDear ascomycete friends,
especially those from Russian speaking countries.

I would like to ask, what literature and species concepts do you use when determining Scutellinia species? And is there any prevalent opinion or tradition in your circle of collegues or is it different for every mycologist?
Just recently I read the paper "Species of the genus Scutellinia in Russia" by Bogacheva et Kullman (2006). When I saw that B.Kullman retained most of the concepts from her previous major work (1982), I got curious how widespread actually is the influence of her work and where are her concepts the preferred ones (before Schumacher's 1990 monograph). Also, it has been some time since that paper already, so maybe things are already very different now.

Thank you for any answer, either here or per e-mail.
