Stipe 2-3mm de long
Spores biguttulées 4-4.5 / 2-2.5 µm
Asques 36-40 /4, Cr +, IKI très faible
Merci pour vos avis.
Jean Claude

Hello,
Thank you so much, it looks great ...
The harvest was made in the west of mainland France
Do you know the geographical distribution of this fungus?
Best regards,
Jean Claude

Re : Sclerotinia ou ??
Bonjour Jean Claude
welcome to the forum! Indeed your sample looks much the same as one from the far west of Canada which I have in my folder Martininia.
I did not compare the literature but believe these fit the type.
Interestingly, in GenBank there are two CBS sequences which differ by over 5% in the ITS. One is from Panama, the other from France (det. R.P. Korf). This might indicate that there is some specific difference between tropical and temperate populations.
I see no iodine reaction on your pic. Do you have a photo of mature asci? Are they 8-spored? because there is a var. tetraspora.
Zotto

Re : Sclerotinia ou ??
Merci Zotto, merci Michel,
Jean Claude
