Here a Hymenoscyphus growing on a last year's stem of Typha latifolia on a wet lakeshore, southern Finland. It is pretty young with almost no ejected ascospores. Frb light yellow, stem white, ca. 0.8 mm long. Asci 94-105 x 7.5-9, no croziers, spores ca 15-19 x 3,5-4 (most of them measured within ascus).
Can it be confirmed that this is Hymenoscyphus menthae despite the young age?
All the best,
Stefan
