Parasite de Evernia prunastri
Michel Hairaud, 27-02-2026 17:51
Michel HairaudBonjour,
Quelqu'un peut il me donner un conseil pour identifier ces ''apothécies'' sur thalles du lichen Evernia prunastri ?
S'agit il d'un lichen parasite ou d'un ascomycète lichénicole ?

Merci
Amitiés. Michel

Re : Parasite de Evernia prunastri
I guess this lichen-parasite is in to find in the neighborhood of Abrothallus De Not.Do i count 6 spores in the asci ?

Best,

Marco

Thanks, Marco ,
Asci are mostly 8-spored actually.

Best Regards. Michel

Re : Parasite de Evernia prunastri
I think this is probably an Arthonia, not Abrothallus - the asci and spores are quite different. I'm not aware of one that is a parasite of Evernia, it could be undescribed (if you believe that they are host-specific...)

Best wishes

Paul
