Malcolm GreavesThis Helvella was in mixed woodland. Uniform cupulate darkish hymenium with a smooth concolourous underside. The stem was much darker with what looked like a tomentose surface and it had a groove down the whole length. The spores were almost all smooth and fusoid but some had rounded warts. Different keys give different suggestions. The mixture of smooth and occasional large warted spores leads is a feature of elastica but I don't think it is that.
Can anyone help
