yellow discs on a Quercus robur leaf
Bohan Jia, 11-11-2025 20:16
Hi,
lastly I have found these tiny yellow decaying a Quercus robur leaf. They are however, asexual und have cylindrical and aseptate conidia. This collection reminds of "Orbilia" succinea, but with aseptate conidia.
It seems like the same species has already been found once by Thorben, but also unidentified.

Maybe someone in this forum recognize it? ...

conidiomata up to 450 ?m Ø

conidia:
13.6 [14.0 ; 17.0] 17.7 × 1.7 [1.7 ; 1.9] 2.0 ?m
Q = 6.8 [7.2 ; 9.7] 10.4 ; N = 13 ; C = 95%
Me = 15.6 × 1.8 ?m ; Qe = 8.4

conidiogenous cells:
15.5 [19.5 ; 38.6] 39.9 × 1.3 [1.5 ; 2.3] 2.5 ?m
Q = 7.1 [8.0 ; 24.2] 30.7 ; N = 17 ; C = 95%
Me = 26.6 × 1.9 ?m ; Qe = 14.5

septate, hair-like elements:
50.0 [50.4 ; 61.1] 61.9 × 2.9 [2.9 ; 3.6] 3.7 ?m
Q = 14.2 [14.3 ; 20.8] 21.3 ; N = 4 ; C = 95%
Me = 54.5 × 3.3 ?m ; Qe = 16.4
