Pyrenomycetes - any ideas
Pavol Palo, 01-08-2023 14:47
Hello friends,

may I ask you for help ? I would need some idea or opinion. Perithecium on dead deciduous trunk ( Sorbus aucuparia). Barrel shape to spaerical 0,8-1 x 0,6-0,8(0,9) mm. Co-occurrence with Scutellinia crinita.

Thanks
Palo

Re : Pyrenomycetes - any ideas
you are in the Lasiosphaeriaceae, but mature spores would be nice to have

cheers

Re : Pyrenomycetes - any ideas
Thank you very much. Spores 58-70 x 5-6 µm, asymmetrical often curved at one end. Considering the substrate, it also looks like Lasiosphaeris hirsuta (Fr.) A.N. Mill. & Huhndorf

Sincerely
Palo
