Quelqu'un d'entre vous pourrait-il me fournir une représentation (photo ou dessin) d'une conidie de
Orbilia oxyspora (= sambuci)?
D'avance merci.

Guten Tad und vielen Dank Zotto.
I found this strange "thing" in a slide of what I though it could be Orbilia auricolor but I didn't pay attention of what it could be.
Then I read in a forum discussion that you pointed a difference between O. auricolor and O. sambuci based on the shape of the conidias and the resolving of the cells on the edge and I remembered then what I found previously.
I also mesured the spores a little bit longer (up to 14,5 µm) but these could be stretched.
Kind regards.
Camille

Hello Zotto.
Herewith some more photos.
Could it be O. sambuci or O. aurantiorubra?

Re : Documentation
Spore shape reminds me of O. aurantiorubra. but spore orientation looks wrong at first glance. Your section in water is good but more photos are needed to better see the spore bodies and perhaps SCBs in the excipulum. The yellowish apo is another species?

Re : Documentation
Both apo's were on the same wood but the micro comes from the paler one.
I'll try to give other photo's.

Re : Documentation
Yes, it is. The host is often Salix or Ulmus, do you know it here?

Re : Documentation
It seems to be Salix.
Thanks.
Thanks.
