Bonsoir,

Un petit discomycète vert noirâtre mesurant 0,4 mm de diamètre observé sur de la résine de Picea abies dans le Jura.

Spores : 5-6 x 1,8-2,3 µm, elliptiques, hyalines, lisses. Asques : claviformes, octosporés.

Je pense à un lichen ?

Ah, Zotto probably missed this one. This is his Amphosoma atroolivaceum. First time I saw it I also missed that its an Orbiliaceae. Cool find.

Hi Andgelo!

Indeed it is, although the spores are a bit small, spore size in this species is generally 7-9 x 2.5-3 µm. Since the SBs are there, the spores should be mature. Is your scale correct?

There exist two cryptic species within atroolivaceum which we did not distinguish because they do not differ in morphology. It could be that one is colline and the other montane. At which altitude did you find it?

I did not look in this posting because of the headder. :-)

Yes of course! Two small spore bodies, one at each end.

If you have a scale to the second photo with the free spore I would like to remeasure.

Although we will hardly take up this sample, I would be glad to npote the collection data.

J'ai remesuré. La spore isolée mesure 7 x 2,8 µm. Par contre, j'ai mesuré des spores dans l'asques qui atteignent 8,8 x 3 µm.

Après vérification, l'altitude est de 1013 m.

Il s'agit donc bien d'Amphosoma atroolivaceum sensu stricto ?

Thanks and gratulation that you have found this inconspicuous discomycete. If you want to know exactly what it is you need a sequence. The taxonomy of this group is not fully explored, an instance that applies to many species :-(

Très discret, (entre des apothécies de Lilapila sur résine Picea/pâturage boisée à 1'000 m), je pense que c'est la même espèce.

ja, ganz klar ist es diese Art, wobei es da eine genetische Heterogenität gibt, die aber eventuell nur im collinen Mitteleuropa auftritt. Also dein Fund würde wohl eher typische A. atroolivaceum sein.

Der Fund kommt leider etwas spät, den können wir kaum noch aufnehmen. Schade, wäre der Erstfund für die Schweiz, und ein weiterer Mitbewohner von Lilapila jurana. Welcher Fundort ist es denn und wie ist das Datum? Hast du Sporenmaße genommen?

Nur wenig Sporen ausserhalb der Asci, 7.5 x 3 µm (leider noch kein Foto).
