Viktorie HalasuHello forum,

I'd like to ask your help with this Cistella, growing on an decorticated ca 10-12 cm thick trunk (Ulmus or Fraxinus), ca 1 m above ground.

Asci H+ (if I see correctly), IKI+b.
A few free spores septate, but not in asci.
Incrustation on hairs doesn't dissolve in heated MLZ.

I don't have any key for this genus. What other important characters to check?

Thank you in advance.
Viktorie

Hi Viktorie

I assume Cistella dentata, and I clearly see a crozier. It would be the type species of the genus and to my knowledge it is still unsequenced, at least nothing in GB and my files.

For a key I can only recommend Raitviir 2004, you don't have?
