nectriella robergei??
hannie wijers, 01-05-2018 14:51
Hello,

I'd lilke some hep. At Peltigera didactyla we saw orange frb which grew out of the leaves. Could these be ascomyceten? Measure of the spores 13-15 x 4-5 µm and they are septeted. The spores remind me at a kid of Necria. With Baralse J+

someone told me that Dennis in "British Ascomycetes" says: nectriella robergei ( maybe a synonym ) lives parasitic on the thallus of the lichen Peltigera canina.
Doe anyone have an idea for me?

Thanks, groeten

Hannie

Re : nectriella robergei??
Hi, Hannie,

yes, I would agree that this is Pronectria robergei (= Nectriella r.) although the asci should not be J+ in that case. ;-)

Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : nectriella robergei??
Thank you Gernot. I hasiteted if the tips are blue. Am I right that Pronectria robergei is a synoniem for nectriella robergei?

Sincerely
Hannie
