Helminthosphaeria?
Per Vetlesen,

this asco was found on a decorticated branch of Fraxinus excelsior on the ground in Stange, Norway.
It looks a bit like a mini Helminthosphaeria stuppea, but has shorter spores, septate setae, smaller asci and smaller septate ascispores!
I have studied Miller et al. Phylogenetic relationships of five uncommon species of Lasiosphaeria and three new species in the Helminthosphaeriaceae (Sordariomycetes) and in fig 22.D there is a four-celled spore from what they call "Helminthosphaeria stuppea-like". Could it be what I have found?
Any comment is appreciated.
Regard

Re : Helminthosphaeria?
Probably. H. stuppea-like things can be quite variable (morphologically and genetically), which is why we illustrated it 3 times.
