The ascomata, up to 1 mm in diameter, erumpent,growing wood Alnus glutinosa, coated at first a whitish fibrous layer.
Ascas:(156.3) 165.5 - 212.5 (213.4) x (8.6) 9.3 - 10.8 (11.8) µm
Ascosporas with germinal groove almost as long as the spore length:
(16) 16.9 - 18.6 (19.2) x (8.5) 8.7 - 10 (10.4) µm
Q = (1.6) 1.8 - 2 (2.2) ; N = 40
Me = 17.7 x 9.4 µm ; Qe = 1.9
