Karsten a publié un nouveau genre sous le nom Discinella, dans Hedwigia, 30, p. 301 (1891), avec comme espèce type Discinella corticalis sp. nov., également décrit dans le même article (voir document PDF joint). Ce genre est un homonyme postérieur au genre Discinella Boud. (1885), donc illégitime.Néanmoins, j'essaie de déterminer ce qui se cache derrière ce Discinella corticalis. Mes recherches se sont avérées infructueuses. Quelqu'un a-t-il connaissance d'une publication sur ce sujet ?

yes, I have seen the specimen ... it has been annotated in 1969 by Korf & Rogers .. they claimed it to be Fimaria ... I seem to have checked the slide and added a det -label stating it to be more or less the same, i.e. Pseudombrophila."

Je cherchais en vain une solution, quand la réponse de Guy_Seppo est arrivée. Mais jene l'ai pas bien comprise. D. corticalis serait une Pseudombrophila = Fimaria (et en suivant la clé de Nordic macromycetes on pourrait dire sans garantie par exemple P. porcina) mais ce genre a pour substrat des déjections d'herbivores ou d'oiseaux et d'après la diagnose le support serait pour corticalis de l'écorce de Lonicera. Quelque chose m'a sans doute échappé.
