Maren KamkeHi everybody,
I found on old Phragmites detritus a white Moliisia sp. which matches with M. hydrophila, but I never experienced a both red and blue IKL-reaction in this species. Is it something else? The asci do have croziers, the KOH-reaction is negative.
Regards, Maren

Re : Mollisia hydrophila aff.
I have a collection on Phragmites (HB 9882) with asci IKI rr. Sp. ca. 13 x 2.5 µm. KOH not tested. Maybe the same as yours. Whitish apos look very similar. No microphotos, regrettably.

Yes, Zotto I found the species HB 9882, but couldn't confirm it because of the lacking microfotos. Maybe it' the same.
Thank you
