Fungus on Bug
Thorben Hülsewig, 22-07-2015 13:31

Hi there

On the 16.7.15 i found under a rotten wood a Bug with a Fungus.

It looks like a Beauveria, but can that be ?

The spores have a size of 2 x 1 µm and the  elongate member where the spores sit on have a since of 6-10 x 1-1,5 (but only 2 measurements).

thanks in advance,

Thorben

Re : Fungus on Bug
Your fungus has simple phialides of Paecilomyces type. Thus it is Isaria farinosa.

Hallo Walter

Vielen dank für die Bestimmung :)

Es gibt aber nicht zufälligerweise Isarias die Stacheln bilden oder ?
