unfortunately my friend who found the specimen can not make measurements.
I was surprised, that the appearance of looks like Smardaea plachonis but found like a rotten twig of Pinus halepensis or Ruscus aculeatus.

The ascospores seem rough or verrucose, so this cannot be Smardaea planchonis.
Your colleague has to observe them in Cotton Blue to get the correct ornamentation. This is required to try a determination!
