Ascocoryne/Ombrophila or something similar
Zuzana Sochorová (Egertová), 15-07-2014 22:48
Zuzana Sochorová (Egertová)Good evening,
these fungi grew on old parts of herbs near/in a stream in Racha Mts., Caucasus, Georgia. 42°43'53"N, 43°44'09"E, 2390 m asl., 27.VI.2014.
Disc in young fruitbodies convex, rounded from the upper view, greyish-pink, cone-shaped and wavy in the older ones, 1,5-11,5 mm broad, 0,3-7 mm high, with contrasting margin. Stem tapering, pinkish, smooth, 2-14x0,5-1,5 mm.

Spores 13-15x5,5-7 micrometers, smooth, with some small guttules.
Asci 125-137x7-9 micrometers, inoperculare, inner ring becoming blue in Lugol, containing 8 spores in 1 row.
Paraphyses 2,5-4 micrometers broad.
Thanks, Zuzana

I suppose it is a Myriosclerotinia, possibly M. sulcata.

The stipe should emerge from a sclerotium.

The blue apical ring is clearly of the Sclerotina-type.

Thanks a lot, Zotto. It really grew from a sclerotium, it´s visible in one of the photos - it was black, 10,5x5x1 mm. I became unsure it was really a sclerotium, so I didn´t mention it.
