Crocicreas dolosellum?
Javier Ormad, 01-11-2013 22:38

Cordialement

René

Hi Javier

this is a very interesting collection.  I actually described a new species, which is intended to be published during winter. It reminds me of your, and I saw it only once, on Acer campestre leaves. Drawing attached.

The spores are more fusoid in my specimen, otherwise I see good concordance. Were your paraphyses also a bit tapring above (sublanceolate)? How does the hair apex look`

Re : Crocicreas dolosellum?

Hi Zotto and René!
Certainly, this species is close to what you present, if not the same ......
The paraphyses not be sublanceolates see clearly. I find it difficult to find croziers, although in the last picture is what most resembles.
Shipping apex hairs photo also. I have measured up to 200 microns in length

Re : Crocicreas dolosellum?
Hi Javier

it looks like if the asci are simple-septate? And the hairs remind of an Albotricha. I looked for one described by Hosoya (A. fagicola), but that has almost entirely granulated hairs.

Also most of the species are graminicolous or herbicolous.

If you don't mind please send me the specimen, this would be very interesting (best in dry state, the vital characters are seen on your photos).
