Roundish orange on mosses
Marja Pennanen,

these orange miniballs are about 0,2 mm wide and grow on (propably) Plagiomnium.
The spores are about 7-10x2,5-3 and seem to develop one septum.
The asci are nosy, 50-60x6-7, IKI-.
I have no knowledge even of the genus, though the habitus reminds some Nectria.

PS: sorry about the poor quality of microphotos.

Re : Roundish orange on mosses
Hi Walter,
I have allready found, that Peter Döbbeler has introduced Nectria mnii on Plagiomnium.
Just that I have not found the description of that species.
Could anyone here have that?
Marja

Thousand thanks to Martin!
Nectria mnii seems to be a good option for this, evenif the asci are just a bit big.
I'll name this for now Nectria cf. mnii before I have time to take a better look.
I have found something like this last year on same looking mosses from another palces, too. They were immature.
