Sur Geopora
Michel RIMBAUD, 08-11-2012 21:16
Bonjour,
Merci d'avance.
Michel

Re : Sur Geopora
Hi Michel,

it reminds me on a species of Rhopalomyces.

But I only know elegans and magnus (both from dung); and for this the spores of your fungus seems to be to small.

It's the only idea I have.

Re : Sur Geopora
Hi Norbert,

Thank you for your answer.
Rhopalomyces picures in Ellis suit very well to my specimen, I yhink you are right.
Yes my spores are lightly too small, but not so far from R.elegans.
Perhaps somebody else can confirm or knows other species.

Michel

Re : Sur Geopora
Hi

this is quite interesting. We had Melanospora brevirostris on dung, a species which also grows on Geopora apothecia. What exactly is the "relation" between dung and Geopora
