Xylaria species banded
Esquivel-Rios Eduardo, 26-10-2012 00:51
Hi All

This Xylaria, found in decaying logs, has ascocarps up to 15 cm. high, its superfice presents stripes or streaks of olive green and black throughout. In interior has a yellowish fibrous marrow. Their ascospores measure 9-11 x 4-5 microns. Maybe Xylaria experts help in identification.
