Peziza/Annellodochium
Esquivel-Rios Eduardo, 21-10-2012 23:33
Hi All.

Some time ago I report in this forum the Annellodochium ramulisporum Deighton, Peziza anamorph, but the apothecia were immature. I recently found Peziza  mature apothecia between   sporodochia of Anellodochium. Apotecia small, cup shape, sessile, light reddish brown in the hymenium, creamy white on the bottom. 0.4 - 0.8 mm. The ascospores are small, ovalate, hyaline . Deighton was reported that Anellodochium anamorph, but apparently did not describe the kind of Peziza related. Maybe someone can help identify.

Re : Peziza/Annellodochium
Dear Eduardo

I suppose this fungus is inoperculate. Your photos are much too unsharp, regrettably, to see any details. I am not sure whether you could actually much improve your microphotos by another setting of your camrea. Various cameras allow to make rather good images, but it is not done with simply holding them to the microscope.

If you wish you can send me some original photos to my address, maybe I can see something from the metadata.

Dear Eduardo

I think this species is also worth to be sent to Kadri. It could as well be encoelioid in a wide sense.
