By the way,is it possible that you have also an answer on my second question?The case is that I have a disco which I (for now and probaly for ever )call Naevala perexigua,but it is not on Quercus,so i study something around Naevala.

As for Naevia tiliae I have it in my database only for Moser 1963. In what kind of leaves did you find your fungus? Do you have any documentation about it?

Naevala (?Naeviopsis) perexigua has nicely hemiamyloid apical rings and seems not to be host-specific. I have here records on Quercus, Fagus, and Betula, and it seems it is all the same (one was collected by Luc Baily). I never found it myself.

I have a collection leaves from Ginkgo biloba,the Naevala fits in N. minutissima (Auerswald ) Hein as described by Hein in "Revision der Gattung Laetinaevia etc. in Willdenowia Beiheft 9 1976.


But he mentions an N. tiliae as "ahnlich.".With the escription from Klebahn cant I anything.Hein gives for N. minutissima (= N. perexigua ) only Quercus div. spec. as matrix.I think my thing is N. perexigua but was confused because of the different substrate.

At this moment my Ginkgo leaves are in a moist chamber,its not easy to get them ripe.Athough I tried to look at the Melzer-reaction,I must look at the thing under the microscope once again.
