Jason KarakehianHi does anyone have a digital copy of Raitviir A (
17-22,5x11,4-15,8 ??m, Q=1,4-1,5, N=15
Une idée ?
Yannick
I think this is Pachyella babingtonii.
Best wishes,
Gernot

Adelphella babingtonii (Berk.) Pfister, Matocec & I. Kusan
in Pfister, D.H.; Matocec, N.; Kusan, I., 2009, Mycologia Montenegrina 11: 14
Adio Alain,
Euh, que dire... :))

I found the article on the WWW: http://www.actafungorum.org/download/Pezizales_Adelphella.pdf
For the guttules... it is quite difficult to see clearly the nucleus and nucleolus when there is so much oil inside the spores. In Adelphella babingtonii we have two big (rarely three) oil guttules plus little ones around. Where there is no oil inside the spores, you have an "empty" space for the nucleus and nucleolus (inside the nucleus). Without staining, nucleus wall is nearly invisible, and nucleolus is a bit more refractive but nothing to do with the oil guttules which are very refractive. If you add KOH, you "kill" the nucleus and nucleolus, and you cannot see the nucleolus. Oil guttules remain in KOH, but maybe they can fuse. "De Barry" bubbles are gas bubbles and are also very refractive and reversible (if you add water they dissapear). I add two pics of Adelphella babingtonii spores inside ascus.
Asci should be J+ but diffuse in the hole length.
Sorry for writting in English, but French is difficult for me.

Ivana has seen this post and sent me a mail because the link given by Raul isn't good.
I copy for all the mail from Ivana :
"Dear Benat!
I have visited http://www.ascofrance.com/forum?page=1 with the discussion about Adelphella. I noticed as well that Raul found our article online but unfortunately it is from the Mycologia Montenegrina number 10 where the taxon is published invalidly (because of the editorial error)! I have e-mailed to you corrected reedition of our article published a year later in the next issue of the same journal. Here is our taxon validly published and we would appreciate if you could upload it on AscoFrance Forum so people can handle with the correct data? "
I put a link here to download the corrected reedition :

Ouch! Sorry to Ivana because I posted the link with the earlier publication. And thanks for the good one!
