Caractères macroscopiques
Fructifications grégaires, sessiles, 0,5-1 mm de diamètre, ornée de poils bruns et marge ornée d'une masse amorphe blanche.
Caractères microscopiques
Ascospores cylindracées à fusiformes, lisses, parfois un peu incurvées, 1-septées à l'état mature (9-) 13-16 (-20) x 2,5-3,5 µm.
Asques cylindracées, issues d'un crochet (?), octosporés, inoperculés, pore apical bleu au Melzer, 55-75 x 5-7 µm
Paraphyses lancéeolées, 2-3 septées, amincies vers le haut, 60-70 x 4-6 µm.
Excipulum extal avec textura globosa-angularis à angularis.
Poils cylindriques, droits à très contournés flexueux, 4-5-septés, brun avec sommet (dernière cellule) hyaline et souvent pourvue de matière amorphe, 110-130 x 3-5 µm.
Spécimens récoltés sur bois indéterminé, relativement peu décomposé, le 16.02.2026 à la Borcarderie, Val-de-Ruz, Suisse, forêt humide avec Tilia, Salix, Alnus, Populus.
Thank you very much. Yes, the description fits L. variegatum well. I carried out a spore print and many of the spores are quite small. The spores from my collection are slightly larger than those mentioned in Raitviir's key.
