I have sent something identical to this for molecular analysis a couple of times and it is the anamorph of Daldinia concentrica, as Angel tells you, of the Nodulisporium type.
I am adding the link to a thread of mine with the two phylogenetic trees.

As I wrote in my post I was thinking of a relationship to Daldinia - but not to D. concentrica that is mostly described to grow nearly exclusively on Fraxinus. Fraxinus was not my substrate but other substrates from the mediterranean (cultured) macchia like Olea (often not clearly to identify).
So - your links solves questions but new ones are arising, as so often ...
