On Pinus leaves -> Ijuhya
Margot en Geert Vullings, 12-12-2023 14:43
We found these very small flattened "balls" on old pine needles lying on the groud. They look like a Nectriaceae, but we can't find what it could be. The cups contain a cloud of asci that appear to be IKI negative.
Asci: Me = 37.5 × 4.9 µm

Spores: Me = 16.3 × 3.8 µm

Thanks in advance,

Margot&Geert Vullings

Re : On Pinus leaves -> Ijuhya
Thank you Alain, we looked at the key from Lechat and at the article by Marian Jagers about finds from Ijuhya in the Netherlands.

In the cotton blue we see 4 spores, so it should be Ijuhya tetraspora.

Kind regards,

Margot&Geert Vullings
