Olivaceous Peziza s.l.
Juuso Äikäs, 14-07-2023 15:12
I found a few clusters of these Peziza s.l. (Legaliana?) fruitbodies in a moist, herb-rich forest with Alnus, Betula, Prunus padus, Picea abies.

The apos are rather large -- the largest fruitbody is ca. 9 cm wide. There is some white mycelium on the underside, near the stem. The flesh didn't release any liquid when cut.

Asci with amyloid tips, spores reticulate, measuring 17.1 - 18.6 × 9.3 - 10.3 µm in water.

Any idea about the species?

I think it is Legaliana badia

Ok, thanks! I've thought that the dark maroon ones growing in sandy places are L. badia, but maybe that's another species (or part of the same complex?).
