Hola buenos días.Alguna idea para este Ascomycete encontrado ayer 20/01/2023 en tronco muy degradado de Pinus halepensis.
Reacción al melzer negativa.
No he podido medir esporas, seguro son jóvenes aún.
Pido perdón por las fotos micro que no son muy buenas, pero aún soy novato en micro de especies tan pequeñas.
Gracias.
Un saludo.
Emilio.

Re : Ascomycete sp
I cannot verify the negative iodine reaction on your photos. My idea was the common Hyaloscypha aureliella, but I am rather uncertain. You did not provide any measurements, which makes it not easy.

Re : Ascomycete sp
Hans, what do you advise me to look at and how to confirm that it is Hyaloscypha aureliella.
Thanks.
All the best.
Emilio.

Re : Ascomycete sp
Generally, oil immersion is necessary, I assume you used 400x. Spore size, ascus croziers, and a closeup of the hairs with scale and a hyaline or yellowish resin on the them.
