Coronophora on Picea Abies.
Mirek Gryc, 08-04-2021 15:16
Hello everyone.
I have a problem with determining the species for this collection.
I suspect that this is Coronophora gregaria but I'm not sure.
Spores:
(6.7) 7.1 - 7.8 (8) × (1.4) 1.42 - 1.6 (1.7) µm
Q = (4.3) 4.5 - 5.4 (5.5); N = 9
Me = 7.4 × 1.5 µm; QE = 4.9
I would ask you with your opinion.
greetings
Mirek

Hi Mirek
If the asci are long-stipitate, please compare it with Coronophora gregaria.

Hi Enrique.
I am happy that you think like me :)
However, I wonder about the substrate. I have not found information about the occurrence of this species on Picea.

But if it appears on coniferous trees, it probably grows and on Picea?

Yes, Stipe is very long.

Thank you and best regards.

Yes, you are right, the sustrate is a bit rare. I allways found it on hardwoods.
