Peziza
Bometon Javier, 29-12-2020 20:14

Gracias y saludos

Re : Peziza
Hi Javier
I think Rubén's suggestion is at least correct.
You should watch more ascus. Try to get them out of the hymenium and look at the basics from different angles.
I have a collection that I call P. pauli, and if it is indeed this species, the basics of ascus have very diverse.
You can watch it on my website;
http://grzyby-pk.pl/gat_p/gat_peziza_pauli.php
In addition, I am posting a few more photos of the same ascocarp.
The rest of your collection is the same as mine.

Re : Peziza
Hi everyone.
Malvipezia pauli (syn. Peziza pauli) is very different. See Donadini's illustration I integrated in my last work on the revision of his type collections (Cahiers de la FMBDS n° 7). I misinterpretated this species in my previous papers.
Javier's collection is more related to Daleomyces exogelatinosus, but the latter has asci with croziers. So I suspect a new species in the same genus (I have several collections). So I'm interested in a piece of your collection to compare with my material.

Mirek, your collection is something else, not M. pauli.

Saludos

Javier

Hi Nicolas
Well, everyone makes mistakes. I won't say that I was pleased with your diagnosis, but the truth is better than uncertainty, in this case, unfortunately, I was not sure.
I hope you will define them someday ... I am waiting impatiently because the group is very interesting.
greetings
Mirek
