Zotto I think I've some Ascocoryne sequences I haven't shared and some important ones are still waiting to be done...everything is delayed:(.
Yes, there are several degrees of this variation.
A. albida with globose/subglobose cells and rectangular crystals.
A. aff. albida with elipsoid cells and +/- square crystals.
A. aff. cylichnium/A.deuncinata with with cylindrical cells and crystals.
Maybe the crystal shape is important, its hard to imagine, but who knows...
This year I collected almost nothing, but with each new sample I get little bit more confused:)). Annoying is that presumably unrelated morphs can grow together.
I had A.albida anamorph with A.deuncinata teleomorph and also A.deuncinata anamorph with A.albida teleomorph...we will not make sense of this without sequences.
