On cone scales of Pinus
Enrique Rubio, 17-02-2020 21:25
Enrique RubioDo you have some idea on this fungus with scutate superficial ostiolate ascomata (thyriothecia) on cones of Pinus nigra? The roof is made by blackish brown elongate, meandriform, cells making a textura epidermoidea, the asci are bitunicate and the ascospores are dimorphic.
Many thanks again

Re : On cone scales of Pinus

Hi friend Enrique,

What did you find again ?

I looked at Microthyriaceae with brown ascospores (like Arnaudiella for example), or else in Asterinales. No found.

I hope it will inspire someone !

All the best,

Alain

Hi Alain
I had searched in these genera as well, but without success.
Many thanks again
