Today I find this fungus, on reed. I think it is a Trichopeziza sp. Can anybody help in the identification?

Apothecia without stalk, 0,5-2 mm in diameter, hymenium pale purple.
Asci inoperculate, clearly inamyloid, base with or without croziers.
Paraphyses tips rounded (not lanceolate), not protruding.
Spores biseriate, with a single septa, 16-21 x 2-3 micrometers.
Hairs incrusted, with blunt end.

Great collection! This is Perrotia distincta (= P. phragmiticola). Was this a lying or a standing culm? P. distincta should be drought-tolerant.

Would you mind sending me the collection data? Since a long time I am preparing an article on Perrotia.

Wow, many thanks! So that is why it does not fit well to any Trichopeziza :-)

It grows on standing culm, on the shore of a quarry. In the reeds, near this Perrotia I find Peziza pauli, Mycena belliae and Pholiota pityrodes (as companion species).

The collection place: Hungary, Oroszlány, Mindszentpuszta-quarry.

In september-october, the weather was very drought in Hungary, only a few days ago have we copious rain.

Ah, this is good. And is this quarry outside of Mindszentpuszta, which direction?

It is a pity that you mounted the fungus in a lethal medium. Living spores look very different and are larger.

The sample was re-examined in H2O. It is interesting to see the differences between the living an dead material indeed.

The exact collection place is 47°26'05.5"N 18°19'29.1"E

No, Mindszentpuszta is a historical village in the forest, near Oroszlány.

Oroszlány is a town present day.

You should type te name "Oroszlány Mindszentpuszta" into the Google maps.

In Hungary, we have an another locality too under the name "Mindszentpuszta".
