Lophodermium on Juniperus needles
Enrique Rubio,
16-07-2019 08:11
Do you have any idea about this Lophodermium growing on leaves of Juniperus alpina at 1700 m of altitude?
Spores and ascos are smaller than the classic descriptions of Lophodermium juniperinum. Many thanks in advance
Enrique

Re : Lophodermium on Juniperus needles
Dear Enrique,
there is a Lophodermium juniperinum var. minorospora:
p. 116
But spores are still larger as in your collection.
Regards
Martin

Re : Lophodermium on Juniperus needles
Dear Martin
It was an attractive possibility, but as you say, the spores are still smaller than described.
Thank you once again for your help.Enrique
