Arachnopeziza obtusipila, typical on conifers.

Hello,

What was this on? Never come across A. obtusipila in my neighborhood. Do you, Thomas, fancy sending a fresh sample to TUR? It would be interesting to compare this to the (japanese) material in Genbank.

damn - I saw this too late - no more fresh material at hand. I sampled a solitary dead Pinus silvestris in a mire with lots of Calicium, other lichens etc. On the inside of the sun bleached surface various discos were about and also Dacrymyces tortus.  It was the sixth Danish record: https://svampe.databasen.org/taxon/10498

okay, too bad. But, think of me the next time you'll see a potential dead Pinus :-) ...Nothing like this on Finnish/Swedish P. sylvestris yet. ---Should be, I think.
