Hello everybody,

I'm really at a loss with this one:

Stroma similar to Eutypa with cruciate Ostioles, but I keep finding hyaline spores with mostly 5 transversal and 1 (incomplete) longitudinal septum ?!?

Habitat: Deciduous wood, probably Fraxinus

Any ideas would be welcome!

Thanks and best wishes,

Stefan

Re : Stromatic Pyreno

Hello Stefan,

A possible genus might be Dothiora. Are the spores hyaline or cloured?

All the best,

Peter

Re : Stromatic Pyreno
Thanks Peter!

Spores are not obviously coloured, but might not be fully mature.

What I find about Dothiora is quite different from what I found.

Dothiora has well delimited, pulvinate stromata and no Perithecia (simple locules within the stroma).
