Hello everyone, On 08/04/26, I found a growth sit
.. collected at 5.8.2018 in the Nature Reserve "Hochschachten" at about 1150 m NN, on a lying piece of wood (bark) likely of Pinus in bog vegetation (acid, dystrophic). The apothecia were about 3-4 mm large, the spores are about 13-17/5,5-6,3 µm large. Distinct hairs are absent, the paraphyses quite filiform. Can somebody provide me with a hint?Best regards, Lothar
ist das nicht Pachydisca pilatii = Phaeohelotium (Hymenoscyphus) eichleri?

Zotto
this reminds me on Hymenoscyphus eichleri (Zotto has it under Phaeohelotium monticola group). Did you check the asci? I've seen it from two similar localities (coniferous wood over 1000 m asl, near a bog or forest springs.
Best,
Viktorie
Hello Viktorie,
thanks for you, too - the same opinion as Zotto. This surely means something ...
Best regards, Lothar
But I assumed my Lugol was a bit diluted.
Thanks again to you both for your help and comments.
Best regards, Lothar
