Discomycete on coniferous wood
Gernot Friebes, 30-01-2018 15:27
Hi,

yet another unknown disco. :-/ I found it on decorticated wood of an old trunk of likely Pinus sylvestris although Picea abies cannot be excluded. The ascospores are very variable in size but generally 3-septate and measure about 33-42 x 3,5-4 µm. Most other characters should be visible on the photos but I will be happy to provide more information if needed.

Best wishes,
Gernot

Hi Gernot,
it looks like a Godronia to me but I have never seen this species

Re : Discomycete on coniferous wood
Thank you, Stip. I fear it'll remain unnamed for now..

Best wishes,

Also a somwhat similarity has the genus Ascocalyx, but there the asci should be Iodine negative
Even the Genus is unsure.
